The downtime between seasons in drifting has always been my undoing. I spend a couple months eager to get out to a track and shoot, and 2020 has been nothing short of that exact feeling. As March approached, I lined up months of events and was looking forward to the season starting. As everyone is well aware of by now, this year is going to be different. Event after event is being postponed as we deal with a global pandemic, and it’s become difficult to anticipate when exactly we can return to more confirmed schedules. With that being said, I had the opportunity to spend ten days in Florida and shoot and stream two different events, Klutch Kickers and OSW Spring Break Bash.
After seeing footage from Klutch Kickers last year as well as the first round this year, my curiosity piqued and I had to experience it myself. A competition combining several different levels of driver on one technical track, it was well worth the trip. Not only was the driving exciting, but it was absolutely incredible to shoot. After nearly three months since I last shot drifting, it felt so good to be on track again.
Enjoy my gallery below! I hope I get the chance to come to another round this year!
